ABOUT USThe Cement Council of Texas provides technical information to those individuals and agencies that write construction specifications. The Council distributes technical bulletins published by the Portland Cement Association (PCA), the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), or local publications. Information may be shared with decision makers individually or through seminars that attract a large number of public and private practice engineers. The Cement Council of Texas engineering and marketing staff is headquartered in Hurst, Texas. Executive Director Robert V. Lopez, P.E. manages the staff and coordinates the various activities of the cement council.

ACTIVITIESThe Cement Council of Texas acts as a technical resource for designers, specifiers, and constructors on cement and concrete subjects with its professional engineering staff and other experts. It provides assistance in the proper applications of these products in all aspects of design and construction. In addition to it's own staff, the Council's resources include the Portland Cement Association, the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, the American Concrete Paving Association, the American Concrete Institute, the Concrete Foundations Association colleges & universities, and other professional groups. |
