The Ash Grove Cement Company has a strong tradition of service,

incorporated in Missouri in 1882 as the Ash Grove White Lime Association.

plants in nine states across the country: Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas,
Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.
The nine cement plants operating in the Ash Grove system are some
of the most efficient and best maintained in the country. With an
annual production capacity of more than 6.67 million tons of cement,
Ash Grove is the largest American-owned producer of cement in the
United States.
The quality portland and masonry cements produced at these nine
plants are used for the construction of highways, bridges, commercial
and industrial complexes, residential homes and a myriad of other
structures fundamental to America's economic vitality and quality
of life.
In addition to cement operations, the company operates a lime plant
in Portland, Oregon with a total production capacity of 117,900
tons per year.
Ash Grove has one of the finest equipped, privately owned laboratories
in the nation. The laboratory's primary functions of research, testing,
analysis and evaluation are both company and industry oriented.
The facility also provides Ash Grove customers with superior, personalized
technical service.
Marketing and operations departments for Ash Grove's Midwest division
are located at the Company's headquarters in Overland Park and Portland,
